Spark Admissions college counselors provide expert, hands-on guidance through every step of the college preparation and application process.
Our goal is to work with you to develop unique and compelling applications that are perfected to best reflect your child’s strengths and set him or her apart. Our comprehensive packages are for students in eighth to twelfth grade.

Spark Packages
We offer two structured levels of support (Spark and Spark+), each designed to flex with your priorities. We’ll recommend the package that will best suit your needs during your free initial consultation. Then, we’ll work together to develop a plan to help your child achieve their goals. We begin working with students as early as the winter of 8th grade and anytime during their high school years.
Our prices start at $39,998 for the Spark package and $59,998 for the Spark+ package and vary depending on the applicant’s current grade and the experience level of their consultant. For more information, please see the applicable page:

8th Grade
A productive high school experience is the foundation for a great college application. Students who progress through high school with intention, curiosity, and confidence are stronger applicants and are better prepared for college. This is where we can help.
9th Grade
Starting high school is exciting—and overwhelming. It’s a bigger, more diverse environment with many new options for courses and clubs. It can be hard for students and families to know where to start. Spark Admissions college counselors can help.
10th Grade
Sophomore year is a common time to start working with a college counselor. Students are more familiar with high school and should now start thinking about college. This is a time for strategy development and creating a clear preparation plan.
11th Grade
Junior year is the most critical time in the college admissions process. We work with students to refine their college lists, develop impactful summer plans, and begin the strategic work on their application narratives and personal statements.
12th Grade
Senior year is all about execution. Our counselors provide intensive support through the entire application cycle, from final essay polishing and interview preparation to navigating early decision strategies and making final enrollment choices.

With the Spark package, families receive everything needed to craft an exceptional, standout college application—from personalized strategy and deep one-on-one guidance to comprehensive support across every stage of the process.
The Spark+ package builds upon this foundation with an even more elevated level of engagement: additional meetings, expanded essay and application support, enhanced summer and tutoring resources, and more frequent communication. Designed for families who want the most immersive and high-touch experience, Spark+ provides unparalleled access, responsiveness, and depth of support throughout the journey.
Service
Meetings With Your Spark Consultant: From your first meeting, you will work one-on-one with your Spark consultant, who gets to know you deeply and helps you build a distinctive, compelling, and cohesive application narrative. Each session will be designed to keep you motivated, supported, and ahead of the curve.

Initial Transcript Analysis: Spark will conduct a comprehensive and thoughtful transcript review. Together, we will set ambitious yet achievable goals and select future courses to strengthen and differentiate your academic profile year over year.
Personalized Timeline: Spark will design a tailored roadmap that outlines every key milestone and deadline from now until senior year so you remain focused, proactive, and completely in control of the process.
Initial Activities List and Resume: Spark will frame your accomplishments with precision and polish, transforming your experiences into a standout résumé that highlights your growth, initiative, and leadership. We’ll also identify new opportunities to deepen your impact and expand your influence.
Interest Exploration Guidance: Spark will guide you through a thoughtful process of discovery to uncover your academic passions and intellectual curiosities. Through curated resources and reflective discussions, we’ll help you identify the areas that truly excite and inspire you.
Interest Development Plan: Spark will craft a personalized plan to transform your interests into a distinctive and meaningful narrative that authentically reflects your growth and sets you apart in a competitive admissions landscape.
Volunteering Recommendations: Spark will provide curated, purposeful service opportunities that align with your values and demonstrate genuine leadership and community commitment, showcasing depth and authenticity in your engagement.
Summer Recommendations: Spark will recommend exceptional summer experiences tailored to your interests, programs that develop your skills, expand your perspectives, and strengthen your overall profile.

Common Application Support: Spark will provide expert feedback on your Common Application materials, including your Personal Statement, ensuring every word reflects your most authentic, confident, and compelling self.
Supplemental Application Support: Spark will provide exceptional guidance on school-specific essays, videos, and portfolios, ensuring your materials feel cohesive, elevated, and unforgettable.
Up to 10 applications, up to 3 rounds of edits per application

Project Management Support: Spark will keep you organized, accountable, and on track, so every detail is managed and the entire process feels structured, seamless, and stress-free.
Support for Specialized Scenarios: Spark will deliver expert guidance for specialized applications, including athletic recruitment, BS/MD programs, and artistic portfolios, tailored to your individual goals.
Interview Preparation Guidance: Spark will prepare you for college interviews through our structured mock interview process. We will help you articulate your intellectual interests and experiences with polish, confidence, and authenticity.
Ongoing Strategic Communication: Spark will provide occasional email check-ins with your consultant for additional guidance between meetings. Additionally, Spark will share proactive updates, reminders, and insights that keep you informed, empowered, and ahead of every deadline throughout your journey.
Committee Reads: Beyond the dedicated support of your Spark consultant, every application is reviewed by a minimum of two additional senior admissions experts, including former admissions officers. Spark’s structured, committee-style process mirrors the dynamics of an actual admissions committee, ensuring a rigorous evaluation of your essays from multiple expert perspectives so your materials rise above the competition.
